I’ve been a loyal regular here, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Yesterday, I ordered the Ppurings and garlic honey wings, and the chicken tasted sour. Under the breading, the meat had black, white, and grayish spots that genuinely looked like mold. It was honestly alarming. We called hoping for reassurance because this has always been our favorite fried chicken spot, but the response only left us more confused and disappointed. After we showed everything, the manager apologized and mentioned it was prepared by their Spanish staff while they weren’t there 😅. They offered either a remake (which didn’t feel reassuring at that point) or a refund, but then asked me to drive 30 minutes back the next day just to show them the spoiled food again. This is a serious health concern. We ended up feeling sick the entire next day after eating it. Between the food quality and how the situation was handled, I unfortunately won’t be coming back. Please be careful and check your food before eating.
Ordered soy garlic and cheese snowing fries and its not as good as it used to be. Chicken has barely any sauce. Fries has very little cheese powder and coleslaw has an overpowering onion taste
Hands down, this is the best K-fried chicken place I’ve found in town. It’s located in the food court at Hmart but don’t let that keep you from missing out on this hidden gem. Originally we discovered the “Don” back when we lived in Austin but so glad to find again all over again. Their portion sizes are great and the flavors are just amazing! Honestly we end up coming back so often cause my kid enjoys it so much. Especially the soy garlic wings D4A, fries, and cheese sticks.
